Announcing the 32nd Annual Alumni Tournament. Special thanks to the golfers, hole sponsors and gift contributors who have participated in our outings over the past 31 years. We believe this charity golf outing is a worthwhile and fun event and we encourage newcomers to join us at the Country Club of Maryland on Monday, August 05, 2019 at 11:00 AM. The format for the event is a modified Florida Scramble. Please provide your handicap or a guess at your average score with your entry.
City and Poly have played a key role in the development of Baltimore and in our own individual development. The Alumni of Poly and City can and do make a difference in improving both schools. This year, MORE THAN EVER, please support your alma mater while enjoying a first class day of golfing and dining! Non-golfers as well as graduates of other schools are welcome to be a part of this most worthy event.
We encourage you to register as a foursome. The fee is $160 per golfer or $640 per foursome. Individuals, twosomes or threesomes will be placed into foursomes. Online entry form can be found here.
*****Early registration is encouraged! All registrants whose registration form and payment is received prior to June 1st will be entered in a drawing for an incentive prize.*****
Those who wish to contribute additional funds to their school may consider one or more Hole Sponsorships or Lunch/Dinner Sponsorships. Hole Sponsors will have signage displayed on each hole sponsored. Lunch/Dinner Sponsors will have signage displayed at the Lunch/Dinner venue at the Country Club of Maryland. Each of these sponsors are also thanked for their sponsorship in the Poly Mail system that goes out to all alumni with the Tournament summary. Sponsorship information can be found online here. As always, thank you for your support.
Play will be limited to 112 golfers, therefore early registration, paid in full, is encouraged. We must have at least 100 golfers participating. Please return your completed applications and checks by July 01, 2019 to assure your place in this year's tournament.
We are always looking to increase our sponsors; please consider sponsoring a hole yourself or with your foursome or classmates, or if you know a business or individual who could sponsor a hole, have them contact Adrian Palazzi at email@example.com.
Your entry fee entitles you to:
- Registration at 11:00-11:45
- Cookout Lunch at 11:00
- Driving Range Balls
- Shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.
- Eighteen holes of golf
- Prizes and Awards
- Refreshments will be available on the course.
Special Attractions - There will be a hole-in-one prize on a selected hole with a value of at least $10,000 with additional prizes for a hole-in-one on additional Par 3s. There will also be prizes for the Winning Foursomes, Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive.; Souvenir golf ball ; a 50/50 raffle and more special events are planned.
City Golfers - We are encouraging increased participation from City foursomes. Please call J.C. Weiss at 410.837.4998 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. The profits of the outing are divided proportionately to the amount of players for each school.
