The Poly Program

All courses at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute are college-preparatory. Poly graduates are highly pursued by colleges and universities, and often receive substantial scholarship aid. However, there are different programs of acceleration and challenge within the larger school curriculum based on prior academic ability and merit. Each program has separate timelines and requirements. Information about all programs and curricula can be found in the Counseling Office.

Poly has various academic programs. A more detailed outline of course requirements can be found below under "course sequence." A description of each program can be accessed here.
  • AFROTC
  • Band
  • Ingenuity Project
  • Project Lead The Way
  • AP Capstone
  • Computer Science
To receive a Poly Diploma, students must finish their Poly Program and absolve ALL failures.
